Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is a behavioral health employment service that assists individuals with serious mental illnesses in achieving competitive employment goals.
An IPS team is staffed with professionals who operate as an employment unit. The team comprises a team lead, employment specialist(s), employment peer mentor(s), a program assistant, and a benefits counselor. Evidence-based practice topics relevant to IPS are listed below. This list is not exhaustive, so additional resources links, articles, and handouts will be added over time.
